Produce is grown partially at Noosa Hinterland’s Shambhala Farm, as well as accessed from our network of Sustainable Food Hub growers. Produce is grown with a variety of sustainable methods using principles of ecology and biological controls that replenish soils, and are ethical, responsible & practical, and most importantly, allow nature to be the key farmer.
FarmBox groceries bring wholesome nourishment to your pantry; from the basics like milk, sourdough bread and eggs, to fermented health kicks like sauerkraut and kombucha.

Claudia & Jon – Qualified Chefs, Founders of Claude’s Food

Experience
Since 2019, Claudia & Jon have focused entirely on cooking for retreats. Their full-time passion. Over the years, they’ve catered countless retreats of all kinds including yoga, singing, breathwork, dance, trauma release, art, and even dog training, ranging from 10 to 50+ guests.
Approach
They take guests on a culinary journey around the world, focusing on nutrient-dense ingredients to create balanced menus of bold flavours, bursting with colour and goodness. They handle every element; planning, shopping, prepping, serving, and clearing, so retreat facilitators can focus entirely on their guests.
They prioritise quality local produce, free-range meats and eggs, cold-pressed oils, and use much organic or spray-free produce (fully organic available for an additional fee). They also work closely with clients to create menus suited to each retreat, accommodating all dietary requirements and helping clients stay within budget.
Availability
Claudia & Jon run several multi-day cooking retreats each year and can also facilitate cooking classes if requested. They particularly love working at Amara Retreat and recommend contacting them as early as possible, as they are often booked out well in advance.

Danielle Gonsal- Retreat Caterer & Facilitator

Experience
Since 2013, Danielle has been catering yoga retreats from the Sunshine Coast to Northern New South Wales, and as far as Italy. She loves catering retreats, where participants come with an intention of taking care of themselves and then leave feeling nourished and inspired to prepare nurturing, life-giving food at home.
Approach
Danielle offers Ayurvedic-inspired meals which support healthy digestion, are full of flavour, and are balanced to be grounding and enlivening at the same time. She uses whole, organic, seasonal ingredients where possible, often with the inclusion of her homegrown herbs and seasonal greens. Meals are vegetarian, with dietary requirements catered for upon request (including gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan).
Availability
As well as retreat catering, Danielle offers engaging information sessions on Ayurveda. These one-hour group sessions explore topics such as Ayurveda: The Doshas and You, Ayurveda and Perimenopause (and Beyond), and Ayurveda for Diet and Digestion. For groups seeking a more movement-based experience, she also facilitates hula hoop workshops, playful, creative sessions that invite participants to connect with their inner rhythm. All hoops are provided, making it easy for everyone to join in.

Experience
Leanne has many years of experience nourishing on Yoga, Health and Wellness retreats, working with a variety of principles including Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, vegan, vegetarian, and raw food.
Approach
She is an intuitive nourisher and healer. Leanne has explored many principles and systems of belief, and continues to return to a more simplistic, fundamental way of living. She believes each person is unique, and that wellness comes from listening to our own inner wisdom and dismantling limiting belief systems.
